Iridex Group is also an active partner in the Start Inovare Association, one of the most dynamic development and innovation clusters in Romania.

Another example of innovation in which IRIDEX GROUP has been involved is the project "Processes and operational systems for material and energy treatment and recovery of waste - PROVED".
PROVED aims to increase the transfer of knowledge, technology and personnel with R&D&I skills between the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and the private sector by developing an eco-technology for the energy recovery of municipal waste and obtaining a Waste Derived Fuel (WDF), a technology for the production of a gas with superior combustible properties (biogas), an innovative waste management and tracking technology with the measurement of complex effects (social, environmental, economic) and an advanced system for the depollution of leachate from landfills.
