Iridex won in court
Justice has ruled in favour of IRIDEX in its dispute with the former mayor of Sector 1, Daniel Tudorache. Twice!
IRIDEX GROUP has recently received the court's reasoning in two legal disputes with the former mayor of Sector 1, Daniel Tudorache, in both cases the Bucharest Municipal Court ruled in favour of IRIDEX and Mr Corneliu Pascu, President IRIDEX GROUP.
Thus, îin the first dossier, the judges decided that Daniel Tudorache, the former mayor of Sector 1, should pay IRIDEX 5000 lei moral damages for damage to the right to image.
Thus, in the second file, the court partially upheld our action and ordered the former mayor of Sector 1 to pay moral damages for violation of the right to image of 2,000 Euro, in RON equivalent at the date of payment to the applicant. The court also ordered Daniel Tudorache to pay Corneliu Pascu EUR 1,000, in RON equivalent at the date of payment, as non-material damages for violation of the applicant's right to honour, dignity, reputation and image, and ordered "the defendant to publish, at his own expense, the operative part of this judgment in a widely circulated newspaper".
